Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarship for Masters without IELTS

Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarship for Masters without IELTS

The Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarship application period is currently open for the 2024–2025 academic year. The UK government’s scholarship program, which is focused on international development goals, is offered by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC). It is a striking illustration of the UK’s ongoing commitment to the Commonwealth and functions within the parameters of the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship plan (CSFP).

Benefits of the Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarship

Appropriate tuition costs are covered by all Commonwealth Scholarships.

Eligibility

Candidates from qualifying low- and middle-income Commonwealth nations may apply for Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships to pursue part-time taught Master’s degrees at UK universities while still living in their home nations.

In order to qualify for a scholarship offered by Commonwealth Distance Learning, candidates must:

  • either be a British Protected Person or a citizen of a Commonwealth nation that has granted you refugee status.
  • possess a permanent residence in a Commonwealth nation in development.
  • possess a first degree with a minimum of a 2:1 upper second-class grade. In some circumstances, a lesser degree and adequate relevant experience might be taken into consideration.
  • not be able to pay for the program’s studies without this award.

*No applicant is required by the CSC to take the English language proficiency exam, IELTS.

The following files must be uploaded with the application by applicants:

  • Proof of citizenship or refugee status in a Commonwealth country that meets the requirements: a copy of a current passport (or national ID card) with a picture, birthdate, and citizenship country listed.
  • Complete transcripts outlining all postsecondary education credentials, including current transcripts for any courses being taken at the moment, and certified translations provided in case the original language is not English. If transcripts are missing pages or are incomplete, the application will be deemed ineligible.
